CTOnews.com May 31 news, recently, gigabyte released a new external graphics card box-Aorus RTX 4090 Gaming Box, the product built-in a liquid-cooled RTX 4090 graphics card, which can be connected to the laptop through the lightning 3amp 4 interface, providing powerful gaming performance for lightweight books.

It is reported that the Aorus RTX 4090 Gaming Box adopts the Aorus Waterforce 240mm AIO cooling scheme, which covers the video card core, video memory and power supply system on a large copper substrate and is connected to a radiator with two 120mm "mute fans" through a high-durability FEP hose. In this way, the graphics card can operate at ultra-low temperatures, maintaining high frequency and overclocking potential, while prolonging service life.

Gigabyte did not say which RTX 4090 model the graphics box uses, but speculated that it might be a modified Aorus RTX 4090 Xtreme Waterforce. The size of the graphics card box itself is 189x302x 172mm, the appearance is mature, with black as the main color, and there is only one Aorus RGB logo on the front. In order to ensure the heat dissipation effect, there are ventilation holes on the top and left and right sides of the graphics card box. The entire video card box is powered by an 850W power supply, has a 90% efficiency level, and provides four 8-pin PCIe power plugs. Gigabyte does not recommend that users replace the graphics card, but guess it should be possible, because gigabyte uses four 8-pin power plugs instead of the original 16-pin power plug.

CTOnews.com notes that in addition to robust graphics cards, the Aorus RTX 4090 Gaming Box provides a wealth of rear and front interfaces, including three Displayport 1.4a interfaces, a HDMI 2.1a interface, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-An interfaces, an Ethernet interface, and a Lightning 3 interface (which is also compatible with Lightning 4 and USB 4). The front panel also has an additional USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C interface. The rear Lightning 3 interface supports up to 100W power transmission and can charge the laptop while using video cards and other interfaces.

Currently, gigabyte has not announced the price and launch date of the Aorus RTX 4090 Gaming Box. However, gigabyte announced that the product had been released, so it should not be too long to wait.
