CTOnews.com Earlier this year, Microsoft launched Teams Premium for enterprise customers. Today, the company announced a new feature that is now officially live for Teams Premium users. This feature, called intelligent meeting recap, can be extremely helpful to employees who are absent from online meetings or who want to review what was discussed.

Microsoft said that according to its research, 56% of Team meeting participants said it was difficult to summarize what happened in the meeting, and 55% of users said they were unclear what to do after the meeting. Intelligent meeting review can help in both areas.

Microsoft claims:

Smart Review leverages AI to automatically provide a comprehensive overview of meetings, helping users save time and coordinate next steps. Under the new "Review" tab in Teams Calendar and Chat, users will see AI-powered insights such as auto-generated meeting notes, recommended tasks, and personalized highlights to help users quickly find the most important information, even if you miss meetings.

CTOnews.com notes that Smart Meeting Review also includes some other features, such as personalized time stamps. This feature will show each user when their name was mentioned, when they entered and left meetings, and when the screen was shared. There are also speaker time stamps that mark the time each participant spoke in the meeting so that people can look back and see exactly when it happened.

For now, Smart Review is available for Premium users only in English, but support for other languages will be added later this year.
