CTOnews.com, May 30 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-- according to the latest forecast from DSCC analyst Ross Young, the iPhone 16 Pro series will adopt a higher 19.6 iPhone 9 ratio, a change that will gradually infiltrate into the standard iPhone 17 series models next year.

CTOnews.com found that the screen aspect ratio of the current iPhone 14 is 19.5 iPhone 9, while current revelations indicate that this specification will remain unchanged in this year's iPhone 15 series.

Although it has been thought for some time that the iPhone 16 Pro will have a larger display, the specific aspect ratio of the series is not clear. If the iPhone 16 Pro series model will become 19.6 9, it means that the long edge of the model will become slightly higher.

It is worth mentioning that Ross Young also provides accurate size data for iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The size of the two phones is expected to increase from 6.12 inches and 6.69 inches to 6.27 inches and 6.86 inches, respectively, an increase of 2.5%.

Bloomberg Mark Gurman has previously said that there is no clear consensus on how much larger the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are than their predecessors. Gurman thinks the increase will be quite small-"a diagonal increase of a few tenths of an inch". (CTOnews.com Note: Guo Mingyi thinks they will be bigger, 6.3in and 6.9in.)

Part of the reason for the larger screen is that Apple wants to add extra hardware to these phones, and Mark Gurman believes that Apple will bring a periscope zoom camera is one of the factors.

Now, according to Weibo blogger @ Digital chat site, "the main screen size of Apple (temporarily known as the iPhone 16 series) will indeed increase next year, especially the super-large cup Pro Max (Ultra), which is likely to plug in both a 1.14in super sole and a latent telephoto, which is Apple's image flagship."
