CTOnews.com, May 30, according to ezone, Asustek demonstrated the latest RT-BE96U Wi-Fi 7 router at Taipei computer Show 2023 and tested it with Intel's B200 Wi-Fi 7 platform.

According to Tuyuan ezone, at the site of the Taipei computer Show, testers conducted network tests with the Asustek RT-BE96U router and Intel Wi-Fi 7 platform BE200 (Gale Peak 2), and the speed reached 4.1Gbps, twice as fast as the previous Wi-Fi 6e standard 2Gbps.

As CTOnews.com reported earlier, Asustek officially launched the router on CES earlier this year. RT-BE96U meets the BE19000 specification and supports triple frequencies of 2.4G, 5G and 6G. The performance of each band is as follows:

WiFi 7 (802.11be) (2.4Ghz): 1376 Mbps

WiFi 7 (802.11be) (5Ghz): 5764 Mbps

WiFi 7 (802.11be) (6Ghz): 11529 Mbps

In other ways, the router is equipped with dual 10G ports, 2GB memory and 256MB flash memory, and the processor specifications have not yet been announced.
