In addition to the successful completion of the four extravehicular activities, the Shenzhou 15 crew also carried out several payload missions, 8 human engineering and technical studies, 28 aerospace medical experiments, and 38 space science experiments, covering life ecology, material science, fluid mechanics, and so on, and obtained valuable experimental data.

Before the Shenzhou 15 crew returns, it also needs to continue to carry out part of the space science in-orbit real (test) inspection, and complete the collection, disposal, and inventory of the descending items before returning; when the Shenzhou 16 crew enters the station, the two groups return to the ground after completing on-orbit handover and rotation.
