CTOnews.com, May 29, data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology show that from January to April, China's software business income was 3.3166 trillion yuan, up 12.8 percent from the same period last year; the total profit of the software industry was 367.4 billion yuan, up 13.8 percent from the same period last year; and software business exports were 15 billion US dollars, down 3.3 percent from the same period last year. Among them, the export of software outsourcing services increased by 5.4% compared with the same period last year.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of Tuyuan Pexels, China's software product revenue grew steadily in January and April, with software product revenue of 818.3 billion yuan, an increase of 11.1% over the same period last year, accounting for 24.7% of the industry's income, of which industrial software product revenue was 81.48 billion yuan, an increase of 15.1% over the same period last year.

From January to April this year, China's information technology service revenue totaled 2.1586 trillion yuan, an increase of 13.4 percent over the same period last year, accounting for 65.1 percent of the industry's income. Of this total, revenue from cloud computing and big data services totaled 347.6 billion yuan, up 16.3 percent from the same period last year, accounting for 16.1 percent of the revenue from information technology services; 84.6 billion yuan from integrated circuit design, up 4.6 percent from the same period last year; and 275.2 billion yuan from technical services for e-commerce platforms, up 4.1 percent from the same period last year.

In terms of information security, China's income from information security products and services in January to April was 49.1 billion yuan, an increase of 9.2% over the same period last year, and the growth rate was 1.9% lower than that in the first quarter.

CTOnews.com learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that China's embedded system software revenue continued to grow. From January to April this year, the revenue in this field was 290.6 billion yuan, an increase of 14.1% over the same period last year, and the growth rate was 0.6% lower than that in the first quarter.
