MediaTek will launch the Dimensity Auto automotive platform, integrating NVIDIA GPU chiplet, and integrating NVIDIA AI and GPU IP;, while the two sides will also jointly launch a comprehensive AI smart cockpit solution with Nvidia DriveOS, Drive IX, CUDA and TensorRT pre-installed, Mr Cai said.

Huang Renxun pointed out that a large number and variety of processors will be needed inside the car in the future. A car defined by software may need to provide more than 10 years of software updates in its life cycle, which means that hardware manufacturers must be able to provide products and services over a 10-year period in order to work with automakers. He believes that the cooperation with MediaTek is bound to further promote the innovation of the automobile industry.
