According to the plan, after arriving in Chengdu for a short stopover, C919 will take off from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport at about 12: 30 to carry out MU9198 flight to Hongqiao, Shanghai. After arriving in Shanghai, C919 will successfully complete its first commercial flight to and from Chengdu.

Earlier, CTOnews.com reported that China Eastern Airlines launched the world's first commercial passenger flight from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport to Beijing Capital Airport on May 28, using Comac's first C919 large passenger aircraft delivered. The flight marks the comprehensive implementation of the "R & D, manufacturing, forensics and operation" of C919, the official "start" of China's civil aviation commercial operation of domestic large aircraft, and the "air experience" of China's large aircraft has officially entered the majority of consumers.

Feng Dehua, deputy general manager of China Eastern Airlines, said that after the first flight, starting from May 29, the C919 aircraft will be put into the route from Shanghai Hongqiao to Chengdu Tianfu to implement normal commercial operation, followed by the introduction of this aircraft one after another. The C919 will be put on more routes.
