CTOnews.com, May 29, the "At a Glance" feature of Google's Pixel phone has been available for some time, and now the "carpool" switch is beginning to appear on actual Pixel devices, which is located in the main "At a Glance" function setting and is described as "showing your ride status."

The "At a Glance" function will show how far the car is from your location on the lock screen of the Pixel phone, in order to save the time of opening the app or the notification bar to get the same information. The new "ride-sharing" display function supports Uber and Lyft.

This brings the total number of custom switches in At a Glance's main overview list to 10 (CTOnews.com Note: earthquake alerts, package tracking, etc.) and is expected to be adapted to more overview features, some of which include detection and warning loud sounds that may impair hearing, as well as airports and other traffic schedules.
