Complete the multiple tasks of "landing, patrol, mining, research and return", form an independent manned lunar exploration capability, and promote the great-leap-forward development of manned space technology from near ground to deep space. Deepen man's understanding of the origin and evolution of the moon and the solar system, and contribute Chinese wisdom to the development of lunar science.

In response to this goal, the China manned Space Engineering Office has comprehensively deployed and carried out all kinds of research and construction work on the basis of tackling key technologies and demonstrating the scheme. including the development of a new generation of manned carrier rockets (long March 10), a new generation of manned spacecraft, lunar landers, lunar suits and other flight products, new launch site related test and launch facilities and equipment.

In addition, Lin Xiqiang said that China is developing a new generation of reusable near-ground manned carrier rockets and a new generation of near-ground manned spacecraft. In order to further support scientific experiments in orbit and create better conditions for the work and life of astronauts, the expansion module will be launched in due course, and the basic configuration of the space station will be upgraded from "T" to "10".
