ASRock today launched a new PHANTOM GAMING series motherboard, of which the high-end model is the Z790 NOVA WiFi7. NOVA represents the dazzling light and energy of the explosion, which can bring a surging game experience for players.

The new motherboard supports Wi-Fi 7 as well as 5Gbps LAN, provides the fastest Internet connection, and supports future CPU with higher power consumption.

ASRock confirms that the Z790 NOVA motherboard uses a 20.1 SPS Dr.MOS power supply design.

The LGA 1700 slot supports Intel's 12th-generation Alder Lake and 13th-generation Raptor Lake CPU, but there is little chance that Meteor Lake will enter the desktop platform in the future, so the "more power-consuming CPU" here should refer to Raptor Lake Refresh.

It was previously reported that Intel planned to provide DLVR (digital linear regulator) for the 13th generation processor, but it was later confirmed that it would be disabled on the 13th generation / 700th series platform, so the Raptor Lake Refresh will most likely be equipped with DLVR.

Sources say Intel plans to launch Raptor Lake Refresh in the second half of this year, with clock rates up to 6.2GHz-6.5GHz.
