CTOnews.com, May 28 (Xinhua)-- Baojun, a subsidiary of SAIC GM Wuling, launched its new car "Yueya" on May 25 and announced that it would soon launch a 100,000-class five-seat pure electric car, which will be named "Yunduo". Competitors will be BYD Dolphin, Volkswagen ID.3 and other models.

According to Zhou Jinkai, deputy general manager of Wuling Brand Business Division, Baojun Yunduo will be listed in August to start pre-sale in June, which will be delivered soon.

Zhou Jinkai said that the new car uses the latest large cell batteries and is assembled with moduleless batteries, resulting in a higher level of energy integration. In the power part, the new car is driven by a flat line motor, which will realize the "three-in-one" latest technology of high integration of motor, electric controller and reducer, which is said to "bring huge internal space to passengers".

Zhou Jinkai also revealed that Baojun Cloud will be equipped with DJI intelligent vehicle driving system, supplemented by high-pixel front binocular camera, look around camera, rear camera and other hardware, which can improve the identification efficiency of automatic parking and rear lanes, and achieve higher speed lane change and overtaking.

In terms of price, Zhou Jinkai said that Baojun Cloud is priced within 150000 yuan, and there is a special design for equality in the trunk and back seats, so we can look forward to the performance of the car's rear space.

CTOnews.com has previously reported that Baojun Yunduo has appeared on the declaration list of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, using a layout of four doors and five seats, length, width and height are 4295/1850/1652mm, wheelbase 2700mm, and the maximum power of the motor can reach 100kW.
