Meituan's R & D expenditure increased to 5 billion yuan in the first quarter compared with the same period last year. Core local business revenue reached 42.9 billion yuan, an increase of 25.5% over the same period last year. Revenue from the new business segment increased by 30.1% year-on-year to 15.7 billion yuan.
