So we need to understand the concept of "safety shutter", the safety shutter is related to the lens, the reciprocal of the focal length of the full-frame camera lens is the safety shutter speed, such as the Canon 5d with a 50mm fixed focus lens, its safety shutter is 1canape 50s, at this shutter speed, we generally do not have the problem of burning out when we shoot by hand.

For a half-frame camera, it needs to be multiplied by an equivalent focal length conversion coefficient, which is generally about 1.6. for example, the Canon 70d uses a 50mm fixed-focus lens, and its safety shutter speed is 80s.

We need to pay attention to this when shooting, the simple understanding is that the larger the focal length, the higher the shutter speed, so as to ensure that the photo will not burn out.

(3) focus accuracy many beginners will use AUTO (fully automatic) mode, which is also called "fool mode". In this mode, the main thing we need to control is focus, and the picture will be blurred if the focus is not accurate.

In order to ensure accurate focus, we need to make it clear that autofocus is not omnipotent. Autofocus is prone to failure or inaccurate focusing in low light, strong light contrast and solid color background. and sometimes even if the camera shows that the focus is locked in a certain area, it is not necessarily the focus effect we want, we need to learn to use manual focus and screen magnification as an aid.

If you often have the problem of blurred photos when shooting, you can focus on the above three points. The specific operation can be seen in the camera manual, which is very detailed.

Operating standard 2: horizontal and vertical if you are confused about the composition at the beginning stage, first ensure that the picture is horizontal and vertical, and then consider the specific composition method.

What is horizontal and vertical? for example, when we photograph the water surface, make sure that the water surface is horizontally parallel to the camera viewfinder or mobile phone screen. We can open the grid line as a reference, and the mobile phone also has this function.

The initial emphasis on "horizontal, horizontal and vertical" is not a rigid performance, because the photos do look much more regular compared to random shots; at the same time, it is developing a good habit to help us make better use of other composition methods. at the same time, reduce the trouble at a later stage.

It can be said that "horizontal and vertical" is the basis of composition, and the composition methods such as central composition, three-point composition, diagonal, frame and so on can all benefit from this. When we can steadily ensure "horizontal and vertical" every time we shoot, the look and feel of using all kinds of composition will be improved a lot.

Operating standard 3: exposure accuracy in the initial shooting, can be based on the full automatic mode of the photo effect as a reference, this is the camera automatically arranged parameter settings, basically normal exposure as the standard.

In order to achieve accurate exposure, it is necessary to understand the relationship between shutter, sensitivity and aperture, which can directly or indirectly control the amount of light in the camera.

The best way to be familiar with these parameters is not to memorize them, but to understand them in practice. Here's a way to get to know them:

(1) indoor practice, because we can control the ambient brightness through curtains, lights, etc.

(2) use M file and control three parameters at the same time to better understand the relationship between them.

(3) first take a picture indoors in full automatic mode, set the camera to M file without looking at the parameters, and manually set the parameters to copy the normal exposure effect in full automatic mode. If the effect is different, reset the parameters.

(4) after shooting almost the same effect, first change one of the parameters, then reset the other parameters on this basis, and try to copy the fully automatic shooting effect again.

(5) after completing the previous step, change the indoor light environment and set the parameters again to replicate the normal exposure effect.

After a few such times, the mastery of the relationship between the three and the camera can be greatly improved.

You don't have to think too much about photography at the beginner's stage. Being able to take pictures clearly, look horizontal and vertical, and normal exposure is already a great progress, and these steps can be done with more attention.
