At full wind speed, a single unit can generate 21 kilowatt-hours of electricity per turn, with an average output of more than 35 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity per year, which can meet the annual electricity needs of about 12500 families of three, equivalent to saving 11000 tons of standard coal per year and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 32000 tons.

CTOnews.com noted that the typhoon unit not only has strong wind capture capacity and power generation efficiency, but also has intelligent monitoring and control functions. The whole unit is equipped with more than 2000 intelligent sensors, which can realize the health monitoring and self-control decision-making of the unit. In addition, the super-large single machine capacity can also effectively improve the land utilization rate and save construction costs and operation and maintenance costs.

The successful offline of this wind turbine also means that the first phase of Daqing wind power high-end equipment manufacturing industry base project has been officially put into production, the project has the manufacturing capacity of large wind turbines with annual output of 500 units (sets) of 5.0MW and above and 1500 super-long blades, which will promote the chain-like and cluster development of new energy high-end equipment manufacturing industry in Northeast China.
