CTOnews.com May 27, Microsoft announced the official launch of the Authenticator Lite application for Outlook to improve the reliability and security of this mail application.

CTOnews.com Note: Authenticator Lite can be said to be a simplified version of Microsoft Authenticator application, which is based on the FIDO2 standard and supports cross-device and password-free authentication.

Microsoft says Outlook users can use multiple authentication (MFA) to improve security through Authenticator Lite.

After entering a password to log in to Outlook, users also need to verify the notifications sent to the mobile end. Currently, users of iOS and Android versions of Outlook can use Authenticator Lite.
