It is reported that at the end of last year, this rare word solution was applied to Alipay to solve the problem that users of obscure words could not pass real name authentication and could not enjoy complete digital services because their names were entered incorrectly.

This set of obscure word solution completely solves the problem of all aspects from input, display to exchange, mutual recognition. To put it simply, users can see a keyboard with obscure words on the interface, and as long as they type in pinyin, they can type out the corresponding rare words. On the other hand, the background transcodes the various alternative forms of most rare words (such as pinyin and word splitting), and transcodes through this scheme in places involving name verification and circulation to help the system identify the two names as the same person.

Ant Group will provide free solutions for rare characters to the whole society through the "Chinese character pickup Program" to help public service organizations or commercial organizations that need to transform rare characters at a lower cost. it also helps more service providers upstream and downstream of the service industry.

At present, organizations that need can access Gitee, Github and other platforms to access and use this solution.

Chen Wenguang, vice president of Ant Group and president of Ant Technology Research Institute, said at the forum that in the future, Ant Group's obscure word solution will further improve word input, and the open source version of OceanBase will also follow all character sets that conform to the new national standard and support the storage of all recognizable rare words. At the same time, more experienced developers are welcome to join us to complete the conversion of stroke input, machine input, and more custom coding.
