CTOnews.com May 26, ASRock iBOX-N97 is a 135mm x 110mm x 44.5mm computer with a fanless design that supports up to three monitors and two 2.5GbE Ethernet connections.

ASRock iBOX-N97 is equipped with Intel N97 chip, which is a 12W, 4-core, 4-thread chip based on Alder Lake-N architecture. Compared with the previous generation Jasper Lake chip, it is expected to significantly improve CPU and graphics performance.

ASRock iBOX-N97 is the latest in a series of fanless systems designed specifically for the industrial market, supporting 24Unix 7 operation under passive cooling.

Thanks to a single 260-pin SODIMM slot, ASRock iBOX-N97 supports up to 16GB DDR4-3200 memory, an M.2 2280 slot for PCIe Gen 3 storage and a 2.5in bay for SATA 3 hard drives or SSD, as well as a set of ports, including:

2 x HDMI 2.0b

2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (with DisplayPort 1.4a alternating mode)

4 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-An interfac

2 x 2.5 GbE Ethernet ports (Realtek RTL8125BG)

1 x 3.5mm audio Jack

1 DC DC power input

The computer comes with a 65W power adapter and a VESA installation kit that can be used to connect 700g devices to the wall or the back of the monitor.

ASRock iBOX-N97 pricing has not yet been announced and is likely to be higher than most consumer-oriented mini PC with similar specifications because it is aimed at industrial and corporate customers.
