CTOnews.com, May 26, Microsoft today released a report called "Governing AI: A Blueprint for the Future", which puts forward its own views and suggestions on how to help enterprises and governments govern generative AI.

Microsoft President Brad Smith (Brad Smith) wrote a preface to the report and summed up five key points, which can enhance the security of artificial intelligence and make it more acceptable to the public.

Implement and establish a new government-led artificial intelligence security framework: the relevant framework has been proposed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

Develop a broad legal and regulatory framework based on artificial intelligence technology architecture: new laws and regulations based on existing laws are needed to manage artificial intelligence, including the creation of a new government agency to regulate artificial intelligence, says Mr Smith.

Improve transparency and ensure that academic and non-profit organizations have access to artificial intelligence: Smith said Microsoft will release an annual report on its work on transparency in artificial intelligence and must make new efforts to extend artificial intelligence research to academic and non-profit organizations.

Seek new public-private partnerships and use artificial intelligence as an effective tool to address the inevitable social challenges posed by new technologies: Smith says important work is needed to use artificial intelligence to protect democracy and fundamental rights, provide a wide range of artificial intelligence skills, promote inclusive growth, and use the power of artificial intelligence to advance the planet's sustainable development needs.
