CTOnews.com May 26 news,"Alone in the Dark" remake is developed by Pieces Interactive, THQ Nordic published survival horror game, will be released on October 25 this year Steam, PS5 and Xbox Series X| Platform S.

Alone in the Dark, originally released in 1992, is the first surviving horror game.

Pieces Interactive also released today a separate prologue, Grace in the Dark, for Haunted House, which runs about 15-20 minutes and does not include combat.

Grace in the Dark is an atmospheric, forward-looking demo that gives players a glimpse of the upcoming remake of Alone in the Dark, which pioneered survival horror games.

Jeremy Hartwood, who lives at Desito Manor, has been acting strangely lately. He asked Grace to do one simple thing-send Emily Hartwood a letter for him. The recipient, his niece, seemed to be the only one who understood the horrors of the otherworld that haunted Jeremy's mind.

Grace agrees to his request and embarks on a short but memorable journey through a branch of Desito Manor that seems to have been invaded by something gushing out of the murky depths of the swamp.

Emily Hartwood's uncle disappeared in the 1920s in a secret area of the South. She and private investigator Edward Carnby embark on a journey to Desito Manor. It's home to the mentally ill, lurking in the unknown.
