CTOnews.com, May 26, according to a list published by the U.S. Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO), Apple recently obtained a patent for a technology involving the digital crown (Digital Crown), which can move in different directions in addition to the existing rotation and click operations.

Apple has introduced digital crowns in Apple Watch watches and AirPods Max headphones, which allow users to rotate and press different operations. Among the patents previously granted, Apple also plans to introduce digital crowns in the iPad.
