CTOnews.com, May 26 (Xinhua)-- according to a list published by the US Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO), Apple has obtained a patent called "Electronic device with flexible display structure", which can be unfolded like a picture scroll.

Mainstream screens usually use rigid structures such as glass substrates, which makes it very challenging to make compact electronic devices. Through the flexible screen, it can be wound on one or more rollers.

Apple has previously obtained a similar patent for a "sliding expandable display", which can be shortened by half of the screen and rolled into the inside of the device, just like the current iPhone, without using it.
