The launch of the World was originally scheduled for the evening of the 24th, but due to technical problems found in the hours before the launch, the launch time was delayed by one day to 25 days.

According to information released by South Korea, the World is a three-stage carrier rocket equipped with four domestically developed 75-ton liquid rocket engines with a take-off weight of about 200 tons and a maximum carrying capacity of 1.9 tons. CTOnews.com noted that the World rocket made its first launch in October 2021, but its first flight ended in failure.

On June 21, 2022, the World rocket was successfully launched for the second time, sending a satellite model into its intended orbit, verifying the ability of the World to send up to 1.9 tons of satellites into low-Earth orbit. South Korea has become the 11th country in the world to independently use domestic rockets to launch its own satellites.

This launch will be the third launch of the "World" carrier rocket and the first time that the "World" will be launched with an application satellite.
