CTOnews.com, May 25 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-- Voigtlander Flenda Optics announced that it will release a Nokton 55mm F1.2 SLIIs full-frame lens within May for Nikon SLR cameras.

According to reports, the lens is the fifth model in the SLIIs series and the largest aperture in it. The Nokton 55mm F1.2 tube is made of Japanese light metal and other parts. The Helicoid boasts high-quality lubricating oil, and the focus ring and aperture ring are embossed with knurled patterns, which officials say "make manual focusing smoother and remember the feel of the lenses in the 1960s and 1970s".

The lens has a built-in EXIF chip module, which can provide lens shooting information. The full length of the lens is 48.1mm, the weight is 365g, and 6 groups of 7 lenses are used.

The Nokton 55mm F1.2 SLIIs lens is equipped with a Nikon CPU chip and a Nikon AI aperture, which claims to be available from film SLR cameras to today's digital SLR machines.
