CTOnews.com May 25 news, the domestic MicroLED supplier JBD in the 2023 SID exhibition launched a "hummingbird" optical machine (CTOnews.com note: used for AR smart glasses display module), its core MicroLED micro-display screen in this year's SID won the 2023 "Display of the Year" award, the optical machine equipped with 0.13in RGB display screen, will begin mass production in May.

In the D65 white equilibrium state, it can output 3: 5 lumens luminous flux with high-quality optical waveguides to achieve a brightness of 1800 nits; in terms of picture quality, it supports 8bit color depth and 1677 million color full-color display, which provides more possibilities for lightweight AR glasses.

Because the brightness of the tricolor panel is inconsistent, this problem is even more difficult, so there may be some compromises on the brightness uniformity in the X-cube scheme.
