CTOnews.com May 25 news, Damo launched its first PCIe 5.0 SSD in April this year, model for shooter, using group control, speed up to 10000 MB/s, 2TB 1899 yuan.

Today, Damo announced that it will launch a second PCIe 5.0 SSD, model Scorpio, with full speed control.

Damo Scorpio should be using the British firmware IG5666 master control program. The master uses 12nm technology and supports 2400 MT/s NAND, which can achieve read speeds of over 14 GB/s and write speeds of over 11 GB/s.

At present, PCIe 5.0 SSDs on the market are basically models with group control, and the speed is basically 10000 MB/s. More 12000 MB/s and 14000 MB/s models are expected soon.
