According to French media Dealabs, the Redmi 12 phone will have a plastic body and frame, size 168.60mm × 76.28mm × 8.17mm, weight 199g, built-in 5000mAh battery, support for 18W fast charging (also known as 33W), USB Type-C port and dual SIM card slots.

Redmi 12 uses a 6.79in IPS TFT screen, provides Full HD+ resolution (2460 × 1080), has a 396 PPI pixel density, covers Corning gorilla glass 3, prevents accidental falls and scratches; supports up to 90Hz refresh rate, supports millet AdaptiveSync refresh rate technology, and can automatically switch between 30Hz, 48Hz, 60Hz or 90Hz according to the display.

The Redmi 12 will be equipped with MediaTek Helio G88 chip, expected to be equipped with 4GB memory and 128GB storage space, and support the expansion of microSD cards to 1TB storage.

The Redmi 12 phone will feature a 50MP main camera (f / 1.8aperture), 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and 2MP macro camera, and a front 8MP camera (f / 2.5aperture).

Other prominent features of the Redmi 12 phone include dual speakers, 3.5mm headphone jacks, fingerprint recognition and AI face recognition, which is expected to be pre-installed with MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
