CTOnews.com inquired about the website of the State intellectual property Office and found that on May 23, a patent for "variable aperture equipment" applied by Huawei Technology Co., Ltd. was announced, which brought a new method of variable aperture.

According to the patent specification, in a conventional camera module, the aperture value f is fixed and cannot be changed. This is because the mechanical equipment required to change the f number will increase the size of the camera module. Therefore, compact mechanical equipment is needed to adjust the f number, which is intended to be installed on the miniature camera module.

The previous patent disclosed a variable aperture device comprising a plurality of blades. The blade moves through the actuator in the device. The rotor including the blade is actuated by an actuator arranged outside the aperture unit. However, in order to control the size of the aperture, the device does not directly detect the position of the rotor, but instead detects the movement of the actuator arranged outside the aperture unit. These problems make it difficult to reduce the size of the variable aperture device. In addition, it is difficult to correctly control the position of the blade, that is, the size of the aperture.

One object of the invention is to provide a miniature device suitable for a variable aperture of a miniature camera module. Another object of the invention is to correctly control the size of the aperture by directly detecting the position of the rotor.

The variable aperture device includes:

At least one magnetic sensor

The rotor is mounted on the coil to surround the mirror barrel and includes at least one magnet disposed to face the coil and the magnetic sensor

A plurality of blades are arranged around the axis, wherein the blades cooperate with each other to form an aperture, are coupled to the rotor and are relatively movable relative to the rotor, wherein the rotor rotates around the axis and moves the blade around the axis, thereby changing the size of the aperture aperture.
