From structured data
The transition to massive unstructured data
With the change of business scenarios, enterprise data is changing from structured data to unstructured data. At the same time, the scale of data is exploding, and the annual amount of new data in the world has increased from 1.2ZB in 2010 to 1YB in 2030, an increase of nearly 1000 times. How to make a large amount of unstructured data "saved" and "used well" has become a difficult problem of enterprise data governance.
Take the medical industry as an example, 8 million newborns worldwide have birth defects every year. In West China Hospital of Sichuan University, gene sequencing is widely used to detect birth defects, bringing unstructured data of about 20PB every year, and it takes 24 hours to analyze each whole genome, which puts forward higher requirements for the data center of West China Hospital.

For this reason, enterprise applications are moving from traditional single applications to fast iterative micro-service applications.
