The company's first product, the Milk-V Duo, is a single-board computer with a dual-core 1GHz chip, which starts at $9 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 64 yuan). An unnamed quad-core system with a StarFive JH7110 processor and a similar Raspberry Pi design is coming soon. Now, the more powerful Milk-V Pioneer platform encapsulates 64 RISC-V cores into a mini ATX motherboard.

The MILK-V Pioneer uses a computationally capable SG2042 processor with 64 Xuan tie C920 64-bit core CPU running at 2GHz; with 4 DIMM slots, the motherboard supports 4-channel DDR4-3200 memory up to 128GB, 5 SATA connectors, two PCIe 3.0x4 M.2 slots, and one microSD slot for storage.

Other ports and connectors include:

1 M.2 E-Key for wireless network card

2 x 2.5 GbE Ethernet port

8 USB 3.2 Type-A ports (10 Gbps)

24-pin ATX power interface

1 PCIe x16 video card slot

The board measures 244mm x 244mm (9.6in x 9.6in) and is suitable for most situations designed for miniature ATX motherboards.

MILK-V also plans to provide "Pioneer Box" with 64GB memory, 1TB storage, Intel X520-T2 network cards with two 10 GbE RJ45 ports, AMD R5230 graphics cards with HDMI, VGA and DVI ports, 350W MSI A350 power supplies, as well as chassis and cooling fans.

According to Milk-V, the development board is suitable for operating systems such as Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu, Arch and Deepin.

The price of Milk-V Pioneer motherboard starts from 6999 yuan, and the price of Milk-V Pioneer mainframe starts from 9999 yuan.
