This year's selection is based on the field of "intelligent manufacturing", adding "intelligent network connected cars" and "intelligent low-carbon development", focusing on three major areas to solicit excellent cases from all over the world.

Since November 2022, the activity has adopted the combination of "application and recommendation", inviting provincial industrial and information departments, well-known trade associations, consulting and research institutions, media and academicians to recommend cases. A total of 167 units registered and declared, and a total of 187 cases were submitted, covering 20 provincial administrative regions across the country, which has been widely concerned by people from all walks of life and enterprises.

The selection follows the principles of fairness, impartiality, objectivity and authority, and is composed of 35 well-known Chinese and foreign experts in the field of intelligent science and technology. the application cases are evaluated from the dimensions of innovation and uniqueness, application value and effectiveness, implementation difficulty and complexity, market influence and promotion. After the communication review, the initial evaluation and the final evaluation, the excellent cases with high representativeness and extension were finally selected.

The selection of "excellent cases of WIC Intelligent Science and Technology Innovation and Application" will become an important support and part of the World Intelligence Conference that will never end, the achievement release platform, benchmarking display platform, project gathering platform and talent exchange platform for the development of intelligent technology industry in Tianjin, and an important support for the digital and intelligent upgrading of the development of intelligent technology industry and enabling core industries in Tianjin.
