CTOnews.com May 24 news, Samsung Electronics Vice President Hon Pak announced at today's media briefing that Samsung Health (Samsung Health) global monthly active users exceeded 64 million, has become a global health solution.

CTOnews.com note: Samsung launched the Health app in 2012 with a simple fitness tracking function; Samsung introduced sleep management-related features in 2015; and in 2018, Samsung restructured its health strategy to create a seamless, perfect health experience with Galaxy Watch.

Samsung continues to improve its health function, adding related health functions such as sphygmomanometer and electrocardiogram, and the Galaxy Watch watch launched in 2021 is also equipped with Bioactive Sensors.

In April this year, Samsung launched a temperature sensor on the Galaxy Watch 5 series of watches to help detect a woman's menstrual cycle.

Samsung says the important development strategy in the future is sleep function. Samsung says quality sleep is vital to physical and mental health and is a very important factor related to overall health.
