Microsoft Edge for Business is a new work-centric browser experience with dedicated visual elements and a rich set of enterprise controls, security, and productivity features. When users log in using Azure Active Directory or AAD, it becomes the standard browser mode for organizational activation.

Microsoft Edge for Business is designed to solve problems caused by mixed work where the boundaries between personal and work experiences blur. On the one hand, customers want to keep their private data, passwords, browsing history, and other parts of their daily browsing separate from the organization. IT administrators, on the other hand, struggle to keep the company safe. As a result, many organizations support multiple browsers, which in turn reduces the security and convenience of the experience.

The new work-centric Edge experience separates users 'personal and work lives into dedicated windows with their own icons, caches, browsing data, passwords, storage locations, and more. In addition, Microsoft wants to automate and make the transition seamless by launching Microsoft Edge for Business when you sign in to Microsoft 365 and other websites using your work account.
