The most notable of these are the display of links to Windows apps related to users' search in Bing search results and the display of rich media ads on the front page of the Microsoft Store. These new features are designed to help Windows application developers promote their works more effectively and provide users with more convenient and personalized application choices.

Starting next month, Microsoft will allow Windows app developers to promote their applications in Bing search results. For example, when users search for "photo editing app" on Bing, they will see links to photo editing apps from Microsoft Store, with brief descriptions and comments. In this way, users can directly click the link to enter the Microsoft Store to download or buy applications they are interested in without having to visit other websites or platforms. Microsoft encourages Windows app developers to create store advertising campaigns on Microsoft's advertising platform in order to take advantage of this new feature and expand their user base.

In addition, rich media advertising is a form of advertising that displays banners with video format support on the front page of the Microsoft Store. This kind of advertisement can provide richer and vivid visual effects and attract the attention and interest of users. Currently, Microsoft has launched a pilot project to invite some developers to display their rich media ads on the front page of the Microsoft Store. Developers interested in participating in the pilot project can submit their applications through this link. This new feature is an extension and optimization based on the previously launched Microsoft Store advertising project, which has helped many developers increase installation and conversion rates by displaying promotional information in search results.

CTOnews.com noted that in addition to the above two new forms of advertising, Microsoft also provides developers with an AI keyword generation function that runs on the Microsoft collaboration Center. This function can automatically generate a series of keywords related to its application according to the application name, description, category and other information provided by developers, and give the degree of competition and traffic estimation of each keyword. In this way, developers can choose appropriate keywords to optimize their application promotion strategies according to their own goals and budgets.
