CTOnews.com May 23, Windows 11 users will usher in the latest feature update, after months of testing in the Windows Insider plan, Windows 11 "Moment 3" update is ready for public release tomorrow.

There is no official name for this feature update (Microsoft no longer seems to like strange names like "Fall Creators Update"), but the outside world calls it "Moment 3". Although this update is not the biggest one, it still contains some good improvements and new features. Here are the highlights:

Taskbar and notification improvements: new virtual private network indicators and buttons to copy 2FA code from notifications.

The real-time kernel memory dump function has been added to the task manager.

Content Adaptive Luminance Control (CABC) improvements to extend the battery life of laptops or tablets.

Multitasking is improved, and more Edge tabs can now be displayed when you press Alt + Tab.

Change one of the oldest screenshots.

The auxiliary function is improved to make the operating system more convenient for people with physical limitations.

Many fixes and minor adjustments in all aspects of the operating system.

CTOnews.com needs to point out that this update will be released as an optional update, so users need to check for available updates in the Settings > Windows update and install the version. Microsoft will push the "Moment 3" update to all users on June 13, 2023 or the next patch Tuesday. In addition, Microsoft also announced some exciting features of the upcoming Windows 11, and the 23H2 release expected in the second half of this year will bring native RGB control, non-grouping taskbar tagging, improved application backup and recovery, and so on.
