CTOnews.com May 24, Microsoft announced the list of award-winning apps for the annual Microsoft Store App Awards event at today's Build 2023 developer Conference.

The purpose of Microsoft's event is to recognize applications that perform well on Win10 and Win11 platforms, hoping to "inspire others to build beautiful and useful applications" and promote a better user experience.

The 2023 Microsoft Store App Awards campaign launched nominations in March, allowing users and developers to submit their favorite projects; voting began on May 1.

Audio / video: VLC

Innovative application: Sketchable
