CTOnews.com, May 23-Microsoft announced at the Build conference on Tuesday that the Windows 11 operating system now supports Bluetooth low Power (LE) audio specification, a technology that can wirelessly connect audio devices with less power consumption. Microsoft said the technology was developed in cooperation with Samsung and Intel.

The Bluetooth low Power Audio Specification, an innovation launched by Bluetooth last year, uses an audio codec called LC3 that supports multi-stream transmission, that is, sending audio signals to multiple devices at the same time. The specification also brings significant improvements to hearing aids, enabling them to significantly reduce energy consumption in daily use.

In addition to the Bluetooth low-power audio specification, Microsoft also said that the update of Windows 11 will add support for real-time subtitles in 10 languages, including Chinese, Danish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish and other English dialects. The real-time subtitle function can automatically convert audio content into text and display it on the screen in real time.

In addition, there are some minor improvements to the widget panel of Windows 11. The default view will have a larger layout, providing a dedicated location for fixed applications and personalized information flows generated by Windows.

CTOnews.com notes that another detail update is about privacy settings for the presence of the presence-sensing feature. This feature automatically locks the screen when you leave the device and unlocks the screen when you are close to the device. With the new settings, you can adjust which applications can access sensor information and easily enable or disable certain sensor features.
