CTOnews.com, May 23 (Xinhua)-- NASA recently tweeted to share the latest photos of Io taken by Juno.

This photo was taken by Juno's 51st flyby of Jupiter's moon on May 16, and half of Jupiter's moon's surface was shrouded in shadow because it was still taken at a distance.

The Juno probe has traveled more than 510 million miles and has successfully recorded three Saturn moons, NASA said in an official blog post.

CTOnews.com Note: Io, also known as Io or Io, is the closest of Jupiter's four Galileo moons, with a diameter of 3642 kilometers and the fourth largest moon in the solar system. The name comes from one of the lovers of Zeus, king of the gods: Io, the priestess of Sheila.

Io has 400 active volcanoes and is the most geologically active celestial body in the solar system. Extreme geological activity is the result of tidal heating caused by tidal friction caused by the pull of Jupiter inside Io.
