Microsoft does not specify the reasons for expanding Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead channels in its blog post, and foreign technology media NeoWin speculates that Microsoft hopes to invite more people to test the upcoming features, and Xbox updates will usher in a major breakthrough.

Interested friends can view the test invitation in the "Xbox Insider Hub" application. After startup, select "Update Preview", select "Alpha" or "Alpha Skip-Ahead" under the "Administration" project, and then click "finish" to get the desired host update.

There are five Xbox update preview circles that you can use to control the timing and frequency of preemptive host updates. You will get access to the preview circle based on your activities as a Xbox Insider member. If you have been invited to join multiple preview circles, you can switch each preview circle in Xbox Insider Hub.

The current Xbox update preview circle includes:

Alpha Skip-Ahead-open on an invitation-only basis to receive updates that belong to different future branches. This preview circle receives updates long before the official release (GA) and includes features that may not exist in other preview circles.

Alpha-Open on an invitation-only basis to receive updates at the earliest point in the preview period.

Beta version-open to Xbox Insider members with a planned service period of 3 months or more and a Xbox Insider experience value of 5 or higher. This preview circle receives updates shortly after Alpha.

Delta- is open to any Xbox Insider member who has a planned service period of 1 month or more and has reached Xbox Insider level 2 or higher.

Omega-open to anyone and receive system updates shortly before GA (public release). Newly registered users in this circle are not guaranteed to receive all early updates, but they will receive updates before the official release. In addition, a small number of users may continue to use their current version of GA after registration until the next system update becomes mandatory for the public.
