BYD is still exploring the most suitable site for an electric vehicle factory in Europe.

According to the report, BYD's investment will become one of the largest investments in the automotive sector in Europe in the next few years. A French ministerial official confirmed to the Echo that negotiations with BYD were continuing. Although Tesla's Elon Musk became the focus of the "choose France" investment conference last week, and BYD did not send representatives to attend, France still hopes to reach an investment agreement with BYD.

In addition, sources revealed that Germany, Spain and other European countries are also trying to send olive branches to BYD, hoping that BYD can set up factories there. BYD aims to mass-produce the first cars in Europe as early as 2025, and the exact location of the plant will be decided by the end of the year.
