According to news from CTOnews.com on May 22, the State Post Bureau announced the operation of the postal industry in April. From January to April, the postal industry mailed and delivered a total of 46.8 billion pieces, an increase of 13.7% over the same period last year. Among them, the total volume of express delivery completed 37.1 billion pieces, an increase of 17.0% over the same period last year.

From January to April, the total volume of express delivery in the same city completed 3.87 billion pieces, an increase of 0.7% over the same period last year; the volume of express delivery in other places completed 32.37 billion pieces, an increase of 18.5% over the same period last year; and the international / Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan express business volume totaled 860 million pieces, an increase of 54.1% over the same period last year.

In terms of express business volume, non-local business accounted for 87.3%, accounting for the largest proportion, followed by the same city business volume, accounting for 10.4%, and international / Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan business volume accounted for 2.3%, the lowest proportion. In terms of the revenue structure of express delivery business, remote business income still ranks first, accounting for 50.7%; international / Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan business income accounts for 10.9%; and city business income accounts for 6%.
