CTOnews.com, May 22, just weeks before the WWDC23, Apple seems to be continuing to secretly apply for trademarks related to its rumored AR / VR headline.

According to online records, Deep Dive LLC, a shell company based in Delaware, filed an application for a "xrProOS" trademark designed in Apple SF Pro fonts in Argentina, Turkey and the Philippines on May 18. Apple is likely to be behind the same company's application for the "xrOS" trademark in SF Pro fonts in New Zealand earlier this month and is expected to be related to early action to protect its apparent intellectual property rights.

Deep Dive LLC also applied for xrProOS in Australia, New Zealand and the UK on May 18, but did not have a SF Pro font style. Records show that the company first applied for the trademark in Jamaica on April 27. Jamaica is usually the place where Apple first applied for trademarks related to future products because of the lack of a searchable online trademark database that helps the company keep it a secret.

▲ Argentina trademark application includes an image of xrProOS, Bloomberg Mark Gurman said that Apple's head display operating system will be named xrOS, so it remains to be seen whether the xrProOS name fits Apple's plan. Gurman also uses "Reality Pro" as a potential name for Apple, and if xrProOS is used in some way, it will reflect the "Pro" brand.

Other trademark applications previously reported that could be related to Apple head Show include Reality One, Reality Processor, Optica and Deep Screen, but it is unclear whether these names will actually be used, some of which were filed by an independent shell company called Immersive Health Solutions LLC.

Apple is expected to unveil the AR / VR header display and related developer tools in its WWDC23 keynote speech on June 5, and is likely to be released to the public later this year. The device is expected to offer a combination of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) features that can be controlled by hand and eye tracking, is expected to cost $3000 (CTOnews.com Note: about 21060 yuan currently), and will be equipped with an external battery pack.
