It plans to conduct about eight days of scientific experiments and commercial activities on the International Space Station.

The astronauts are scheduled to dock with the International Space Station on Monday and live and work on the station for eight days. Before returning to Earth, they will conduct more than 20 experiments on the space station. This is the second time that Axiom Space of the United States has organized an "all-private" aerospace team to the International Space Station. The project is also a commercial partnership between SpaceX and NASA. It is worth mentioning that the Ax-2 crew includes mission expert Rayyanah Barnawi, flight crew John Shoffner, Commander Peggy Whitson and Ali Alqarni,4, including two American astronauts and two Saudi astronauts, one of whom is a woman and the first female astronaut in Saudi Arabia.

According to reports, Ali Ali AlQarni, 31, is a Saudi Air Force fighter pilot, while Rajana Rayyanah Barnawi, 33, is a cancer researcher.

They will be the first Saudi Arabians to travel to the International Space Station and the second and third in the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to go into space. Most importantly, Barnawi will become the first female astronaut in Saudi Arabia.

(so far the only Saudi citizen to reach space is Prince Sultan bin Salman Al Saud, who went into space on the space shuttle Discovery STS-51-G in 1985 and stayed for a week, and he was the first Arab, the first Muslim and the first member of the royal family to go to space.)
