In a reply to Reuters, Weilai said it hoped to promote the research and development and commercialization of nuclear fusion technology through financial investment in the project.

NeoFusion was established in April this year, its shareholders include Wanneng shares and Hefei production and Investment, etc., with the goal of commercializing controllable nuclear fusion technology within 20 years.
