CTOnews.com, May 20, Minsheng Securities analysts pointed out that the cost of the whole process of Apple's MR headset display, including transportation costs, is conservatively estimated to exceed $1600 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 11232 yuan).

According to the content of Minsheng Securities analyst, CTOnews.com summarizes as follows:

The most expensive component is Sony's exclusive silicon-based Micro OLED custom screen module, which costs as much as $280,320 (currently about 2000 to 2246 yuan), accounting for more than 20% of BOM costs.

The second most expensive component is still the 14 CMOS image sensor modules provided by Sony at a cost of $160. (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 1123 yuan)

The dual-processor chip used in the MR head-mounted display is the M-series SoC manufactured by TSMC and another independent dedicated image processor chip, which is expected to cost $120 to $140. at present, it is about 840 to 983 yuan.

Pegatron and Lixun will receive assembly costs of $110 to 120 (currently about 770 to 842 yuan).

CTOnews.com query found that there are some differences in the estimated values of different analysts. The report from Wellsenn XR suggests that Apple's total cost of MR headsets is $1509 (currently about 10593 yuan). According to a report by Peng Hu, a senior analyst at CICC Securities, the cost composition of spare parts is roughly the same as that of other institutions, with Sony silicon-based Micro OLED screens accounting for the majority, and structural components, with a total BOM cost of about $1300 (currently about 9126 yuan).
