CTOnews.com May 19 news, SSD manufacturer Damo announced today that it will debut 16TB SATA TLC SSD in mainland China, the price is 8999 yuan. It is officially defined as an enterprise-level scheme and is also sold to individuals.

According to reports, this series of SSD uses group self-sealing BiCS5 TLC, with power-off protection capacitor, durability up to 20000 TBW. In addition, the official will also launch a second enterprise model, using Huirong + long-term plan.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, Groupon demonstrated 16TB SATA SSD's plan at the CES show in 2020.

In October 2020, Yingchi launched the Rock GA-E 16TB SATA enterprise SSD, which sold for as much as 19999 yuan at that time. Yingchi has said that the third-generation LDPC ECC & ETEDPP technology has been added to the enterprise SSD of Rock GA-E 16TB, which can greatly reduce the data writing load and restore UBER. Over-loaded with high-specification 3D NAND flash memory particles, the TBW reaches 2600 TB. At present, this product has been removed from the shelves.
