CTOnews.com, May 19 (Xinhua)-- New York publisher Simon & Schuster announced that a new biography of Elon Musk will be published on September 12, 2023.

The author of the book is Walter Walter Isaacson, who is probably best known for writing a biography of Apple founder Steve Jobs. However, he has also written biographies of many others, including Leonardo da Vinci, Benjamin Franklin and Albert Einstein.

Musk has always been a controversial figure. In just the past few months, he has lost billions of dollars, calling telecommuting "unethical", at odds with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), illegally firing employees who criticize him and banning journalists from using Twitter.

The reaction to the news on Twitter varied. Some people are enthusiastic about Musk or Isaacson's work, while others are critical of Musk's recent actions or his choice to write a biography of a living person.

According to CTOnews.com, Bloomberg columnist Ashlee Vance wrote a copy of Silicon Valley Iron Man for Musk as early as 2016, with a current Douban rating of 8.0.
