Speed crossing
The GeForce RTX 4060 series features an ultra-efficient NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture with fourth-generation Tensor Core and third-generation RT Core for AI content creation, compatible with DLSS 3 technology for ultra-fast 3D rendering, and an eighth-generation NVIDIA encoder (NVENC) that now supports AV1 format.
GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GPU.
With the help of third-generation RT Core, DLSS 3 and NVIDIA Omniverse platforms, 3D modelers can build and edit realistic 3D models in real time with up to 45 per cent speed gains.
Video editors who are good at using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve can easily use a variety of special effects driven by AI, such as automatic reconstruction, magic masks, and depth estimation. The fourth generation of Tensor Core can significantly accelerate these effects seamlessly, so creators can maintain a smooth workflow.
With the eighth generation of NVENC that supports AV1, VJs can experience the new generation of LVB effects. The new encoder brings a 40% improvement in coding efficiency for the anchor. For popular LVB applications such as OBS Studio and platforms such as YouTube and Discord, the improvement in efficiency is like increasing the bitrate of VJs by 40%, bringing about a big leap in image quality.
10Mbps and default OBS LVB settings.
NVENC has super-efficient hardware coding ability, which can provide much better coding quality than other GPU. At the same bit rate, the image looks more beautiful, clearer, and less artifacts, as shown in the example above.
Creators speed up their creation with the help of AI. DLSS 3 doubles the frame rate of popular 3D apps. ON1 ResizeAI is a software that supports high-quality photo magnification and can be 24% faster than the previous generation of hardware. DaVinci Resolve's AI magic mask feature automates the highly manual translation process, which is 20% faster than the previous generation, thus saving video editors a lot of time.
The GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB will go on sale on Wednesday, May 24, with an suggested retail price of RMB 3199. GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB will go on sale in July with a suggested retail price of 3899 yuan. GeForce RTX 4060 will also be available in July, with a suggested retail price of 2399 yuan.
The D5 renderer combines with DLSS 3 to create a beautiful effect
The D5 renderer adds support for NVIDIA DLSS 3, allowing architects, designers, interior designers, and 3D artists to significantly improve the real-time experience.
These professionals want to browse the scene smoothly while editing and show their creations to their clients in ultra-high definition. The scene can contain a lot of detail and is so complex that it is difficult to maintain a high window frame rate and render it in the original quality.
D5 is favored by many artists for its global illumination technology called D5 GI, which provides high-quality lighting and shadow effects without affecting workflow efficiency.
The D5 renderer combines with DLSS 3 to create a realistic image.
By integrating DLSS 3 (a combination of AI-driven DLSS frame generation and super-resolution technology), the window frame rate can be tripled, giving creators a smooth and silky experience. This allows designers to deal with larger scenes, higher-quality models and textures in real time, while maintaining a smooth interactive window.

Your Last Worm-ing
NVIDIA 3D artist Daniel Barnes's initial creation method is simple: sketch until it looks cool and lifelike. Although his work "Wormhole 00527" follows this customary process without exception, emotional factors have a significant impact on this work.

"after the epidemic and various global events, I became very interested in spaceships and escape pods," Barnes said. "it's just an abstract expression of escapism, a real expression of the idea of 'Let me get out of here', and I think we've all had similar ideas in our hearts."
Barnes imagines "Wormhole 00527" as containing every fuzzy region that might pass through as an alternative star system-the other side of the Milky way, where things are very similar to the solar system, but calmer. He added: "in a way, it's like another earth."
One night, Barnes used the Nomad app to design styling on his tablet, and he imported the original model into Autodesk Maya for further refinement. He retopologies the scene to convert the high-resolution model into smaller files that can be used for animation.

Then, Barnes took a screenshot, further outlined his modeling and editing content, and developed the lighting design in Adobe Photoshop.
"for more than a decade, I have been working on 3D creation, and GeForce RTX graphics cards have always been able to smoothly drive multiple monitors and run 3D software windows at extremely fast speed. In addition, real-time rendering in some projects can greatly improve production speed." -Daniel Barnes
With GeForce RTX 4090 GPU,Barnes, you can use more than 30 GPU acceleration features to modify and adjust images quickly and smoothly. These features include fuzzy collections, object selection, and perspective deformation.
Back in Autodesk Maya, Barnes uses the Quadrilateral drawing tool, a simplified workflow to retopology meshes with a single tool, to create geometry and adds plug-in panels that are easy to animate.
This is what a wormhole looks like.
Barnes combines Chaos V-Ray with Autodesk Maya's Z depth of field feature, which provides the distance between each object and the camera in its current view. The distance of each pixel of an object is estimated separately, which means that different pixels of the same object may have different grayscale values. This makes it easier for Barnes to adjust depth of field and add dynamic blur effects.

He also easily added light combinations and applied materials. Smooth movement in the window is achieved by using the default Autodesk Arnold renderer to deploy RTX accelerated RayTracing and AI noise reduction, creating a beautiful, realistic rendering.
Dynamic blur effects can be applied more easily with the Z depth of field function.
He completed project synthesis in Adobe After Effects and made use of GPU acceleration and NVIDIA CUDA technology to improve rendering speed.

When asked about his favorite creative tool, Barnes replied simply: "it's definitely my RTX graphics card and a nice big-screen display!"
