Logistics efficiency exceeds similar services on the market. At present, "half Day" has been launched in eight cities across the country, including Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Chengdu and other important consumer cities. The rookie is expected to cover 20 cities nationwide in half a day within a year.
With the consolidation of Cainiao's domestic logistics capacity, the consumer satisfaction of Cainiao service Tmall supermarket has continued to climb this year, and has reached the industry-leading level in key cities.
In the global market of logistics, Cainiao continues to raise competition barriers and continue to strengthen the end-to-end implementation network. It is expected that by the end of May, Cainiao will build more than 20 preferred positions to further optimize the effectiveness of international express delivery and support domestic brands to go to sea more efficiently.
This quarter, Cainiao also focused on improving capacity-building in a number of overseas key markets, such as Brazil, the United States, Spain and the United Kingdom. In March this year, Cainiao's distribution at the end of Brazil increased by more than 70% from a year earlier to eight charter flights a week in Latin America, and reached an in-depth strategic cooperation with Brazil Post. At present, CMB cross-border packages of rookies can be delivered as soon as a week. Relying on the local warehouse distribution network, orders from core cities in Brazil can be reached the next day as soon as possible.
In Europe, Cainiao partnered with DHL to further expand the coverage of the intelligent portable network this quarter, and the self-supporting terminal distribution network in Spain has covered most of the mainland. In view of the peak foreign trade season, Cainiao continues to optimize the elements of the overseas warehouse supply chain. In March, the volume of overseas warehouses in West France and France increased by more than 100% year-on-year, and orders covered the whole of the European Union.
Rookie Post Station, as a service center around consumers, insists on optimizing consumer experience as the most important goal. In this quarter, the number of door-to-door parcels at rookie post stations increased by 85% compared with the same period last year, and put forward a new service standard of "1-minute quick pick-up, self-help pick-up before 24:00", and successively launched a variety of solutions such as post-station "idle status" inspection, self-help inspection, night pickup and so on.
Up to now, the "idle status" viewing function has covered more than 100000 rookie post stations, and more than 1000 rookie post stations have been online for night pick-up. From "free storage" to "door-to-door delivery" and "quick pickup", rookie post stations are gradually moving forward from providing basic services to high-quality experience.
While improving the ability of logistics service, Cainiao actively promotes ESG practice. The carbon asset management system independently developed by Cainiao provides brands with effective digital solutions for carbon reduction. Large-scale green recycling capability has also become a key link in the supply chain of Nike, Yili and other brands. At the same time, Cainiao, with its professional emergency logistics capabilities, has become the global logistics partner of the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) and the first Chinese logistics company to cooperate strategically, which will help WFP improve its global emergency response capability.
