CTOnews.com, May 18, according to the website of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the application of domestic wafer foundry Huahong Semiconductor for secondary listing in Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Board has been approved, with an estimated total financing of 18 billion yuan, which is expected to become the largest domestic listing transaction in 2023.

Huahong has to register its plans with regulators, but the company has not set an offering schedule or provided other details. Huahong Semiconductor's IPO plan in Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Board is expected to raise US $2.6 billion (currently about 18.2 billion yuan), which could become the largest listing project in China this year, Bloomberg reported.

Huahong Semiconductor is a pure wafer foundry headquartered in Shanghai, specializing in "8-inch + 12-inch" process technologies such as non-volatile memory, power devices, analog and power management, logic and RF, including Omnivision. Previously, Huahong Semiconductor raised 2.6 billion Hong Kong dollars (currently about 2.324 billion yuan) in its first IPO on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
